Yes, I ve been experiencing difficulty walking, loss of balance, dizziness of varying intensity. I ve had the Epley Procedure to rule out (forgot the technical term, not vertigo). The therapist put me through a battery of coordination tests, and then proclaimed I didn t have it. She further confirmed that diagnosis by performing the Epley Prodedure, Maneuver (whatever), saying that most patients who have begin vomitting after the procedure. I didn t! My dizziness is almost non-existent while seated, but when walking, standing I m tottery and feeling like someone who was intoxicated. I m taking a B-12 supplement and Vitamin D in adition to a New Chapter One A Day Vitamin for Men s health product. That s it for medications. I do have tinnitis and have had it since February 1969. Have had one severe episode of vertigo some 15-20 years ago, but nothing since. My current symptoms suddenly began September 2015, and I ve ex-perienced some hearing loss in both ears, but don t use an appliance. My paternal grandfather was frequently stopped by police when he went to the downtown because he was staggering like a drunk, but I never knew him to use alcohol, smell it on his breath or ever see him with beer or alcohol. I can get up from a chair and immediately lose balance, but haven t fallen (yet). No one seems to have answers at my family practice. I ve had an MRI of the brain and the result was normal, except for some old age gray areas. I turned 79 this past December, have had a double knee replacement, cancerous left kidney removed at Hopkins and gall bladder removed a year ago this past December. That s it!
